What did you want to be when you were little?
For a long time it was to be the fastest gun in the West but I settled on an airline pilot.
What is your dream?
To own a complex of: music, drama and dance
schools, recording studios and concert halls. Ja, I know it's a big one so at least a recording studio.
Whom has influenced you most?
I can't escape my Dad's genes. Sometimes a blessing, sometimes...but I mean that in the nicest way
possible.
Why a presenter at CCFM?
I'm making use of an opportunity to use my talents and life experiences to touch others through english community
christian radio.
Your greatest fear?
Being bitten by a snake - you may see it coming
but they're way too fast! Besides, - it's got to hurt.
What makes you laugh?
A very good joke or funny situation.
What angers you?
When people exploit other people or situations for
selfish gain and cause harm to others.
What's the best piece of advice you've received?
You are worth it so hang in there.
Your Most embarrassing moment ?
If you really want to know ask me because there are far too many to mention...besides, I'd rather forget...
Your biggest triumph?
I've ridden a time of 3h37 for the last 3yrs in
a row in the Pick'nPay Argus Cycle Tour with much less than 1000km training.
What is your favourite verse in the Bible and who is your favourite Bible character?
The passage of Romans 8:38-39
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I aspire to be a Daniel.
What do you do when you are not behind/in front of the microphone at CCFM?
I work at a major telecommunications company, I love spending
time with my family especially out and about, playing bass guitar in
the church band, doing sound at church, cycling, watching too much TV.
What was the BEST moment of your life?
Marrying my best friend on the
2nd November 1991. It is more than just a dream come true. Newsong say
it best in their song, "When God made you He must have been thinking about me"
Which season is your favourite, and why?
Summer - I love basking in the sun and I can stand the heat.
Do you like the wind in Cape Town?
Not when I'm on my bicycle - it literally blew me off my bike once.
What do you think about Cape Town's people?
Warm, fun-loving, music-loving, principled people, proud of our cultural and religious heritage.
