Boys will be boys and I'm an adventurous girl.
This must be the most fun I've had this week. We got together after Quinton's show to try and do jump shots.Sadly, this is the best result of several hilarious attempts!

HOW CAN A WOMAN NOT LOVE THE LORD?
He is a gentleman,
He is confident
He is a provider and protector
He is rich and powerful
He owns everything, there is nothing He wouldn't do for me
He perfects all things concerning me
He anticipates my wants and needs
Every day He tells me and shows me how much He loves me
I don't have to perform in order to earn His love
He accepts me the way I am
He doesn't wish I was someone else because he
knows that I'm unique
He doesn't compare me to another woman that he
thinks is smarter than me.
He is faithful and loyal
He keeps all of his promises
No one can influence His opinion of me
He is the ultimate intimate partner
He can't "disown" me because I am a part of Him
He prepares a table before ME
He covers me and doesn't expose me
He wrote his loving words down so that I'll never forget how He
feels about me!

Wake up every day and thank God for being the best "man"
in your life!

Romans 12
Place Your Life Before God
1-2 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

We have often heard the phrase "Waiting on God" But do we fully comprehend what this means?
God taught me a very important lesson last year; one I'd like to share with you today...
When the bible speaks of waiting on the Lord, a lot of people expect that it means we just carry on with our lives and all our blessings or whatever we may be trusting God for, will fall out of the sky.
No! We need to get our house in order (FEED on the WORD, be OBEDIENT, SPEND TIME with God- PRAYING... all it means is remaining in constant communication with our Father. Include HIM in everything you endeavor)and stand with outstretched hands in expectation.
Isaiah 40:31 (The Message)
But
those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They
spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get
tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.

Acts 20:32 (The Message)
32"Now I'm turning you over to God, our marvelous God whose gracious Word can make you into what he wants you to be and give you everything you could possibly need in this community of holy friends. "
As I read it, a bright smile stretched its way across my face as a warm blanket of love encumbered my frame -- all at once the air was filled with the tangible aroma of GOD and I fell completely in love!

It doesn't matter where you come from or what you're facing. When we have Christ, we have it ALL!

My New Year's Resolutions for 2010
1. NO MORE Fruitcakes in my life
I've learnt to follow my basic instinct when it comes to people. If there's a screw loose, it's going to fall apart!

2. I've learnt from my lil sis to take the kind of things that would usually upset me with a pinch of salt.
What's the use of agonosing over things or people who don't add any value to your life?

3. NO Compromise when it comes to being my free-spirited self.
As women we are God's work of art. Get closer to him and you'll discover the true beauty he has planted inside of you. Allow him to nurture it daily.
4. This year I'm going to Live my passions according to God's purpose for this gift of life that I've been blessed with.

Galatians 6:9 (Amplified Bible)
9And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint
When God expects us to do the right thing and not grow tired in doing right the saying Easier said than done comes to mind but as hard as doing the right thing may seem, it is possible. It is possible to respond to anger with a quiet answer. Yes it hurts when we're wrongfully accused. It hurts when we're cussed at, bullied and belittled.
I found myself in that very situation last night. Yes God saw my tears, felt my pain and witnessed the defamation. At one point I felt Christ embracing me and I heard him whisper "hey, it's OK...". But what was equally as important to him was my reaction. I am proud to say that I handled myself in a way that Christ could be proud of.
And in the end that's all that really matters.
Gods GRACE is sufficient. You will
NEVER find yourself in a situation that you are not capable of
handling with the help and guidance of the holy spirit of Christ.
Be
encouraged! We're in this race to win it! YES you CAN!!

Some days the wind blows
Some days the sun beams down heavily;
Today a kiss
Tomorrow a seering scorch.
Today I feel like a flower in the rain
But petals re-grow
New buds will blossom becuse through it all
My roots are firmly planted in good soil
And though the rain may fall, it helps me grow
