Brentwood Baptist Church (BBC), from Nashville, USA, were back again to assist with teaching and promoting our local talent.

CCFM Songwriters Forum

The CCFm Songwriters Forum officially relaunched on 31 January 2009.  We are proud to host this long-awaited arm of the MusicMakers Ministry, which will network all songwriters of all levels to one another.  Our aim is to link everyone to resources in their immediate community first and then provide the backing to promote and present new christian songs and music to the world.  If you are a poet, lyricist, songwriter or musician who wants to see South African stories told through song, then please join this forum.  There are no costs attached, only your time, talents and skills.

We will be meeting monthly and will have a quarterly "Open Mic" where songwriters will showcast their material and potentially be "positively" critiqued by local guest artists.  We know we have talented songwriters, so now's your time to show the world why God chose you to write songs about Him and for Him.

The last meeting was on 21 February 2009.

Xhosa Worshops and Concert

We are in the planning stages of arranging music workshops and a concert for our Xhosa listeners.  We will keep you informed on this page.  We also welcome your suggestions.
