Wooo hooo!! Four days and three nights away with the family. It doesn't get better than this! After the show, I handed over keys, had a short conversation and then left for home. Just after 11am, we were on the road and heading out of town.

I spent half the day cooking! It was fabulous. This morning's show went well, although not as many people knew the TV tune was Prison Break.

Late blog...

Today was a full day. Started off with a wonderful Tuesday edition of Rise & Shine. Went straight into quick work prep for tomorrow before being surprised by David who unexpectedly arrived at CCFm. He was just driving past and decided to stop in.

The Spider & the Bee!!

Today it was great to be back on air after Share-a-thon last week. I had 1 million, 7 hundred & 32 thousand, 821 thank-yous to send! It was sweet!

After the show I wrapped up ALL the music until Monday next week.

A day of complete rest!

Today I spent most of the day in bed!! After 6 days of Share-a-thon hype and backwards and forwards to the hospital to see Granny, today, Mike & I stopped and did very little. David went to see Granny and found her doing okay.

And wow, we were encouraged. By the end of it all R1 730 623 or there abouts was raised in just 25 hours! Isn't that incredible! TGBTG! Mike & I spent most of the day at CCFm.

A full fulfilling day!

Amazing amazing stuff in the CCFm studio this morning. The Lord blessed! Nearly R420 000 was pledged between 7 & 11am. Four fantastic hours. We are greatly encouraged that tomorrow we will reach our target of R1.8 million for the week.

Granny in hospital :(

I made an appointment for Granny to see the doctor today, but when I got home just after 12 noon, she was in extreme pain, so I phoned the doctor and asked if he could come and see her.

It is what it is!

This is one of my favourite sayings. Sometimes you just have to sigh and say "well, it is what it is." Usually it is circumstances you don't like and you can't change and you just have to work with them.

Today Mike & I woke early, had coffee, did some work and then left for the prayer meeting at CCFm. It was a great almost 2 hours of praise & prayer! Monday is Share-a-thon and we are excited!

When we got home, we found Granny somewhat below par.

I have spent the last hour trying to finish the puzzle! Note to self NEVER NEVER NEVER attempt this one again! 1000 piece puzzle is hard enough but a 1000 piece puzzle with various combinations that fit together is a crazy! I chang

Shopping with Granny!

This afternoon I really felt like "bangers and mash" for dinner but didn't have sausages so I was going to "nip" down to the store...just quickly...you know 10 minutes round trip. I asked Granny if she wanted to come for the drive...

Sunshine!!

So much for the rain!  It was supposed to have come by now, but instead we have the pleasure of seeing a magnificent sunset! The rain may come tomorrow! The day was an easy one. With the rain coming (ha ha!) I made soup for tonight, so that was easy.

End of a busy day....

After a good show (which wasn't as messy as yesterday) with Wayne, I did a quick bit of prep for tomorrow and then headed off to Canal Walk where I parked (for those listening this morning) at Entrance 6, almost right next to the door.

Actually it wasn't that great! The show was a bit messy. And my routine was thrown out because I had no car this afternoon (DAVID!!!) That was on the bad side.

I don't think the Athlone towers fell exactly as they were supposed to. I thought they were going to fall into each other.

Today I woke up, made coffee and then stayed in my pajamas the entire day! I did shower! Talk about a lazy rainy day.
