CCFm MUSIC MAKERS

OUR VISION:
To develop Christian artists who will effectively lead and positively impact the music industry in South Africa and beyond.

PURPOSE:
To develop, equip and encourage Christian artists, songwriters, musicians, and worship leaders through seminars, practical workshops and fellowship groups, as the community development arm of Radio CCFm 107.5Fm.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To network Christian artists with all music related resources.
2. To be a link between all churches and communities.
3. Where possible to hold workshops that are free and open to anyone in the community.
4. Identify up and coming talent in the community.
5. To seek to present wholesome, practical, God-honouring events.
6. To work together with honourable people, businesses with sound track records and reliable resources.
7. To ensure that all ministry related material is presented by a Christian at the events.
8. To adhere to and abide by the Constitution and the policies and procedures of Radio CCFm.

News :

Hosting the Brentwood Baptist team from Nashville, USA for a Worship Training Workshop in March 2006 and 2007. About 250 people in attendance over 2 days. Demo CD's were professionally made for the songwriter winners.

Co-hosting 6 weeks of music training workshops with Paul Bothner, during May and June 2006. About 300 people in attendance over the 6 week period. Workshops ended with a R4,000 acoustic guitar giveaway. The workshops were repeated in May 2007

Co-hosting the Helderberg Music Seminar with Trevor Sampson and the City of Cape Town, mid-July 2006. About 250 to 300 teenagers attended various workshops, presented by some of the top local artists (including, Trevor Sampson, Victor Masondo, Camilo Lombard)
