I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting Robben Island just over a year ago (an experience one should really have on ones 'must do' / 'must go' list) and so I thought, as we're commemorating Madiba's 90th birthday this year (18 July), that I'd share some of the pics (by no manner of means professional so please bear that in mind) we took on the trip. Space prevents me from showing you too many but these were just some of the landmark features (for e.g. the leper graveyard, the church (Church of the Good Shepherd), lighthouse, prison, etc)
